My name is Brittney Cobb "A Black Female Therapist" and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker currently practicing at a Primary Care office in North Carolina. I have an undergraduate degree from Saint Augustine's University & Masters in Social Work from North Carolina State University. I became a Therapist because of my passion for helping people.
I believe in Therapy.
As a patient, Therapy gave me the tools to create healthy relationships, be assertive, set boundaries & has helped me manage my own anxiety. As a Therapist, I create safe spaces for people as they confront emotional pain & trauma. Therapy works when people feel safe, supported and are given the tools to create a life they want to live. Therapy can work for you.
My goal is to promote mental wellness provide education & fight the stigma associated with Therapy and Mental Health - especially in the black community.
I am currently not taking any clients. I only consult & offer content.
